It has been awhile since I have been on here. I have been very busy working on my Etsy Shop. I really need to get better with this.
Shame on me!!
So, my latest project has been making crayon rolls or crayon wraps for my nieces and grandsons. It really is a fun and pretty quick little project to make.
Oh! I haven't forgotten the older ones. They are getting a larger size roll with various sized pockets to accommodate their makeup or bathroom necessities.
Each roll is perfect for traveling. The crayon rolls can go anywhere since they are so small. They will fit into a purse or tote with no problem and will help keep the kids entertained while you are out and about. Plus, the kids will love rolling them out to see all of their colors!

I can't believe how time flies and nothing seems to be slowing down either. Even though we are almost two weeks in, this has been a pretty busy month/year.
Call them resolutions if you must but, I have plans and goals I would like to meet. This is all year for me. I don't need a New Year to get me started on planning, just another day. LOL!
I honestly want to organize my home and my shop/office space. Our home is less than a year old and I still have a blank canvas to work on. No pictures on the wall, white walls, missed match furniture, a guest room with boxes (still) and curtains to be bought/sewn and hung.
There is also the garage with it's over abundance of boxes, tools, and yard items that needs to be organized. We did work on it a few months ago for 3 days. Useless. We really need shelving units installed.
I guess you are wondering why it is taking so long. Well, besides trying to be budget friendly, Hubby and I haven't been married very long and all our things have collided. He has a ton more items than me and I won't sort or go through things without him. He does has the ambition to help but, once he makes it home, it's over. The day is gone and he is tired from working.
So, now I sit and wait patiently and dream. Well, almost.
What about you? What do you have in store for this upcoming year?

Well, I forgot to show you the finished wreath! I have been so busy with Christmas and my Etsy shop that time just ran away from me. Sorry!
So, here it is......
I pray that all the pain and suffering will disappear for a moment and that the love of Christ will fill the hearts of yours and those around you.
May you be warm, sheltered, and protected from weather and any elements of harm. But, most of all remember the reason for the season...That Jesus was born and he came here to help save us from our sins.
God loves all of his children no matter where they are, how old they are, what they look like, or what they do and he can show you his love if, only you allow him.
Peace, Joy, and GoodWill towards All!
Sending My Love To Everyone of You!

My cousin had a few rolls of burlap and didn't know what to do with it so, I mentioned a wreath.
She was excited about the idea but, said she wasn't sure she could make one and that is where I come in.
So, I made my first burlap wreath.
Word of advice, do not buy the Christmas wire wreath frame that has only two circle rings and fake greenery or tinsle wire to help hold the loops you make. This gives you a little more work than needed and the wire is harder to hide. Do buy, the wire form that has four rings and use floral wire.
This is a picture of it before I decorate it. I think it turned out ok but the challenge for me is how to decorate it for her. I do want to keep it simple.
Should I use just a bow? A bow and burlap flowers? Twiggs and berries?
She said she decorates with a nature sort of theme.
Have any ideas? Let me know!

I have a busy week ahead. Lots of orders to fill from my little shop, new things to post, and Christmas gifts to make. I am having fun!
I bought Hello Kitty color pages for 5 of my very young nieces as Christmas gifts. They were on sale at Michael's for a killer clearance price ($1.79 here), for 25ft.
I thought I would make a crayon wrap, filled with crayons as an addition to their gift.
These should keep them busy Christmas day!
Sorry, for the poor shot.

What am I thankful for?
Well, mainly God, my family, dear friends, and today especially... my sweet neighbors.
They go above and beyond and I really want them to know how grateful we are to have such kind souls living by us.. So I made them a movie basket filled with Redbox codes, popcorn, popcorn seasoning, and candy in a huge popcorn tub.
They are a very young couple and I do hope they are able to enjoy it.
This is the month to be thankful. What are you thankful for.

Are you looking for a way to spruce up your Facebook, Blog, or Website for the holidays? Do you want something that is just totally cute?
I have a friend on Etsy that does amazing work and the price is completely affordable! I just found her and she is an absolute doll to work with! She did the banner for my Etsy shop and I am now on my way over to see what she can do for my Facebook and of course my Blog! She has a huge selection and I just love all the bright colors.
She also has the cutest graphic packages to help add that cute little something to your Etsy Shop.
You can find her at:
and if you want to see my banner it is located at my Etsy shop: www.etsy.com/shop/KellyVCreations
Keep checking in and see what she does for my blog's banner and should you get the chance to speak with her. Tell her Kelly V said hi.
By the way....I didn't get paid to mention her or advertise for her. I just loved working with her and since she is trying to get her business a boost, why not help one another?
